The doctoral programme of the LabEx Tec21 supported by the European Union
As part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action COFUND, Tec21 was awarded a support from the European Union for its PhD@Tec21 programme. A dedicated call for research proposals is open to select 6 PhD topics to be funded. Proposal submission deadline: 15th of June 2026.
Please note that the PhD contracts will start in October 2027, with the application and selection process of the candidates starting in November 2026.

PhD@tec21 finances full 3 years PhD grants.
The 2027 edition of our call for proposals includes funding for two types of PhD projects:
- classical Tec21 PhD projects subjected to the usual rules: the PI of the project must be a permanent researcher from Tec21, and the project has to be carried out in collaboration between at least two laboratories from Tec21 perimeter,
- joint PhD projects to be carried out in collaboration with either LabEx OSUG or LabEx ARCANE: in this case, the PI and the co-PI of the project should be permanent researchers affiliated to Tec21 and OSUG or ARCANE (e.g., PI from Tec21 and co-PI from the other structure, or vice-versa).
As for the 2026 edition of this call, all PhD fellowships must include a 2-months secondment period to an international academic institution or a private company.
